Just to update y'all, i've opened a ticket with the Gitlab guys since
neither their import feature or manually trying to push tags ( git push
gitlab --tags) seems to work :( They usually are pretty responsive (and
open for patches) so I'd be curious for their response.
In any case, I don't think I should case a vote since I'm not really an
active developer anymore at this point.
