I belive The Terminal can be open in two ways. From the application menu and 
with a shortcut command. The shortcut command are an tracker addon that 
takes the location of the open tracer window and starts The Terminal with 
that input..

If you start The Terminal from the applicatio menu it will start in your how 
directory.
