Some of the graphics drivers do support it such that you get a single
large desktop, the missing piece is the app_server being properly
aware of it, which helps with things like window positioning (i.e.
with the current set up there's no way of knowing that putting a
window in the center of the desktop in fact puts each half of the
window on a separate monitor).
