The Haiku Blog-O-Sphere (Thom H., are you reading? :P ) is mostly used
by the Haiku developers, but it is not necessarily limited to developers.

Posting to the blogs is not enabled by default, and permissions are
granted on a case by case basis.

I would say that it's based more or less on the same criteria as for
write access to the SVN, that is, dependent on the accumulation of
contributions to any area of the project.
