Note that after exiting KDL file system is almost definitely get
 corrupted, so volume should be reformatted after each test.

 This seems like a separate but very related bug. I wonder if it is somehow
 due to the block cache thinking that blocks have been written back and
 thus marking them "clean" when in reality they aren't.
