Looking at the NotificationView code the constructor requires a pointer to
the NotificationWindow it is being added to. So it won't be as simple as
just creating a NotificationView and adding it to some view in the
preflet. But perhaps this could be accomplished by having a
ColumnListView with all the details as you said, and then provide a button
like "Show Preview" which would create a NotificationWindow and add the
notification to it. Maybe "stick" the NotificationWindow to the bottom or
side of the preflet window?
I forked haiku's git last night and setup my build environment but we are
dealing with an ice storm and power outages now. I should have something
up in a few days to show.
