XHCI sec. 4.6.5 p114 does have a note indicating that "software is
responsible" for adhering to this "recovery interval".
I made those changes in hrev55769. I'd still like to see what errors were
originally printed on failure, however. Maybe some other open tickets we
have were due to this.
