Thanks, Chris. I now have managed to get in but it took rather longer than usual to acquire my position. Due to a problem recently with my PK, I had to pair from scratch after re-installing software, so that maybe accounts for the delay. I just didn't expect to wait so long.

Hi Carol, You can do a test to see if it's the battery or not. 1. remove the battery. 2. connect the receiver to power. 3. try and acquire satellites. Have you also re paired and activated the receiver lately. perhaps there's something strange going on just with that and it's not a hardware battery issue. Although I have charged this again ready for use (after a fewmonths of inactivity), although the receiver is recognized by my PK, I am unable to acquire satellites. Is this likely to be a battery problem? If so, could you please advise if there is one or are there two differentbatteries about which I should be concerned and can replace, or do I have topurchase a new unit? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
