For future reference, check the Sendero download site for updated documentation. We tend to update the ReadMe with little changes and there is a Keysoft 7 Bluetooth connectivity audio file. Sometimes we learn new things that require a change from the original documentation. So we post these changes on the download site.

Hi,

Thanks. I read in the Bluetooth document that a reset was needed, and never questioned it. I just tried it with no reset, and it worked perfectly. This will save hastle.

Thanks again,
Alex

RECEIVER

Hello, if you have a mpower and you are using the blue logger,
you do not
need to do a reset after pairing.
All you need to do is the following:
1. turn on the blue logger reciever
2. turn on the braillenote
3. Go to options, then c for connectivity, then b for bluetooth
4. if your braillenote says bluetooth is on then just press
space bar if it
is not on press y for yes to turn it on
5. It will ask you if you want to serach for devices say no
6. if you need to pair it will then ask you to pair say yes
7. it will then ask for authencity code enter 0000 and press
enter
8. once it says paired with bluetooth and activesync is active
go back to
main menu
9. Now press n for navigation and you will be brought into the
gps menu and
you should be good to go.
regards,
Robert

RECEIVER

Hi,

I have a Blue Logger receiver and an mPower. First, make sure
you have:
1. Turned on both the receiver and Bluetooth.
2. Searched for, found, paired with, and activated ActiveSync
(authentication code 0000) with the receiver.
3. Done a reset after ActiveSync is active.
4. Reactivated the receiver after the reset.

If all that is done, and problems still persist, try exiting the
GPS application and doing a simple reset, after turning off the
receiver. Repeat the steps above. If nothing works, I don't
know what to say. Sometimes the printer service of the receiver
keeps getting activated instead of the ActiveSync, so ensure
that
is not happening.

Good luck, and sorry I couldn't help more.
Alex

Subject: [gps-talkusers] EMPOWER CANNOT FIND BLUETOOTH RECEIVER

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to help my GPS Bluetooth receiver find my Empower. I
probably ought to reverse that statement! Anyway, Empower keeps
telling me to switch to virtual mode because the receiver is not
detected.
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you for your help.
