Kim, The main selling point for the PK is portability. The PK does have some differences because it doesn't have the same memory, memory card, or USB port functionality. It has a USB port, but it is a lient port. It only has capability for compact-flash. And, the Keysoft software for the PK doesn't have some of the features that you get with the larger and more powerful Voice/Braille notes. I can't think of everything, but one thing is no FM radio, for whatever that's worth. You still have a voice recorder, media player, word processor, database manager, scientific calculator, etc. I find that the loss of those functions to me isn't a big deal because of the lighter weight of the PK. Right now I use a braillenote 32QT M-Power with my sendero GPS software, but lately I've been contemplating switching to a braillenote PK because of its size. So I would be quite appreciative with anyone's true evaluation of both, why I should select one over the other: other than just its size. If I gave up using my m-power is there anything I would be gaining with the PK, or lacking with the PK. Actually the only thing I don't particular care for with the M-Power is its weight. Thanks in advance to all comments. Kim Lookingbill kim@xxxxxxxxxxxx (email or MSN Messenger) Blast From The Past Sundays, 16 to 19 UTC http://interactive.acbradio.org
