OK, Douk, try the grave key for 64TH and SHIFT+Grave for 128TH values. I believe you have a beta version of Lime 9 that supports that keystroke. If that does not work for you, you will need to install GOODFEEL 3.1 which ships with Lime 9. See HYPERLINK "http://www.dancingdots.com/gf/31dl.htm"www.dancingdots.com/gf/31dl.htm and follow link to "Package Installer". If you are authorized for GF 3.0 you should need no further authorization. Anyone who is authorized to run GOODFEEL 3.0 has my permission to download this update if they wish. Once you're happy with GOODFEEL 3.1 and Lime 9, it is very important that you delete any shortcuts on your desktop or Start menu that point to GOODFEEL 3.0 or Lime 8. Or you can simply uninstall GOODFEEL 3 and Lime 9. SharpEye version is the same. Once a Lime file is saved in the Lime 9 format, it cannot be read again in Lime 8 or any earlier versions of Lime. GOODFEEL 3.1 is a no-cost update for those who are authorized to run GOODFEEL 3.0. It runs under Windows XP and Vista. The Lime Aloud scripts that come with it will work with JAWS 6.x through 9.x. See Start | Programs | Lime | Language Manager to change Lime's language to English, German or Spanish. We will soon make an "official" announcement about it but try it if you like. Note to other members: if you are happy with GOODFEEL 3.0 and Lime 8, there is no urgent need to update. All it gives me is 32nd with an eighth beat for the metronome. I did send the file to albert so you guys can take a look at it. I sent him the original file that I wanted transposed to a minor from g minor (that is 2 half steps up). I also want it in lime format so I can print it for my sighted students in order to avoid conflicting scores. The last couple mesures contain 32nd and 64th notes. As I recall, shortest note value in GOODFEEL's MIDI Part Control equals 7 which maxes you out at 32ND note values. Yes, send file here and we can play with it. Lime's MIDI import is a bit tedious as you must create a new file with at least enough empty measures to hold music from your MIDI file. It must have one part for each MIDI track. So if your MIDI file has 4 tracks, your empty Lime file must have 4 parts. Use Voice | Parts and Voices to add parts (ALT+V, V). If there are any time signature changes, you must create them in the empty Lime file before importing MIDI into Lime. The MusicXML import feature of Lime is much smarter. To import a MIDI file, you must import it one track at a time. So no luck there. I originally wanted to do it in limeSo I can do some editing as necessary. Do you have any suggestions in lime? You can do this by checking 'Always prompt after loading a MIDI file' in the Options | Automation Options dialog. Then when you load a MIDI file GOODFEEL will display the GOODFEEL MIDI Processing dialog which will give you access to the (MIDI) Part Control dialog (Alt+C) and in there you'll need to change Shortest Note to 7 (for 64th notes) for the parts that need it. I highly recommend only changing it for the parts that need it. Pressing F1 in this dialog will explain this dialog more fully and there's a link in there about how to navigate and modify fields in there. The last few bars contain some 32nd and 64 note values. How can I get lime to recognize that? when I import it into lime, the smallest value it allows me to select is a 32nd note at an eighth beat. I appreciate your help. I have the piece ready for anyone who wants to take a stab at it. thanks.
