In todays hosts, generally only Pitch and Velocity. The same parameters MIDI sends every time.

Not significantly different. Not any harder.


Anyhow this is just 'thinking out loud'. I doubt we can prove it conclusively 'on paper'.

We will build a prototype and evaluate the pros and cons.
