Big assumption, In situations where the number of GMPI plugins exceeds the
number of MIDI plugins, then the efficiency equation is turned
back-to-front. (you're creating/transporting MIDI bytes that are ignored).

But seriously, lets not prematurely optimise code we haven't written yet.

If the MIDI bytes are needed, fine, but it's not an efficiency question.
