Mike, I agree these are all reletively easy cahes that would be great for the event. It might not be a bad idea to have someone check on the two Tyler caches and be prepared to possibly have to replace/restock them. I remember a couple months ago reading several logs about them being wet and in need of some TLC. The owner hasn't been online in quite some time and John and I were going to go fix them up but didn't make it out there before things greened up and he's highly allergic to poision ivy so we haven't ventured into the woods at all lately. I'll let you know later if our schedule will permit us to attend or not. There are some cemetery caches and a few others that could be found. Morning would be fine. Thanks for volunteering! Here are some of the easier caches we could show people... 2 / 2 GC973A Tyler's Oak 1.5 / 2 GCMNAJ Schlote Family Cemetery 2 / 2 GC9739 Tyler's First And a bit more of a challenge 3 / 1 GC2CC6 Private Snuffy's Box Let me know what you think... I will assume I am working the AM shift unless I hear otherwise. What should I bring (extra GPS, laptop etc.) Do waypoints need to be loaded in advance? The expo will be out at Busch Conservation area in the parking lot of the Rifle Range. It will be Saturday, July 30th 9 AM - 4 PM. We need people for the following: hand out information at the booth setup temporary caches Escort people to find caches Escort kids for a kids only cache Shifts are 8am - Noon and Noon - 4PM We are looking for 10 people to help out. Some will be at the booth and others will be at Busch. I can't stress enough, how important this is to our success of having Weldon Spring and Busch areas as cache friendly areas. Please take some time to help. Tim will be in charge of the morning shift and will let you know what needs to be done. Please indicate here if you can help. Someone will need to pick up the 10x20 fly I have prior to Thursday @ noon. This will give you sufficient shelter. See http://tinyurl.com/9lb7c for info on the expo and who else will be there.
