I agree. Oysters is the first thing that came to my mind. I found and ate a

Those look like they are Oyster Mushrooms. They are VERY tasty...good find!

 

You can sautée them, use them in soups...you name it. Treat them like any
other mushroom.

 

Did you just find them recently?
