I photo copy my tags and send those out laminated. If a bug gets lost, I just
resend it with a new laminated tag. This keeps me from ever woorying my 5$ tag
got lost with a bug. If they go missing, I just send a new trinket, update the
page, recalculate mileage and away they go.. Tons of Fun!

  - What you see in the picture is the "hitch hiker". The actual bug is like a
set of dog tags. The hitch hike is attached to the dog tags. Someone unfamiliar
with geocaching might mistake the hitch hiker as one of the exchange items and
take it without logging it. So checking the names on the physical log might be
a way to try to track down someone who has done something like that.

I have read logs on a cache that was supposed to have a TB. I remembered
seeing that because the log was signed about a month earlier and it
indicated that they took the TB.
One we just found this weekend was logged the in the cache logbook
(physical book) that they'd left one the day before, but was nowhere to be
found. So that's why I was confused about them.

I'm looking for something that looks like the picture on the website, but
I've never seen one "up close and personal" so if they aren't like the picture,
then I guess that's why I'm confused!
