I have applied for a delegation on May 27th. Hopefully we can firm up the
concept more and get our letters of support before then.
As for the jersey barriers: this is only one option. We could also propose
heavy planters. We just need something to protect the pedestrians from errant
cars. Of course staff would be responsible for a detailed budget and work plan.
I don’t think retractable bollards a re a good idea because there may be
conflicts with the underground infrastructure.

proposing something different pre-November, I agree. But those should be
replaced with something better (such as retractable bollards) next spring.
