I grew up in the western US where cultural and economic ties to Japan run deep. But, anyway you look at it Japan is simply too large a market to ignore, especially for games. I know Korea is also a big game market but I don't know much about the rest of Asia, South America, and the non-US parts of the Pacific. Anyone from those parts of the world want to fill us in?
