Hi Jawad, Good initiative!. You have a well plan too. I have a suggestion, before the event you guys could conduct a *My Computer My Linux* week. In that week your college students can come to the organizers and get their laptop Linux installed. - Form a 10 member team who know to install Linux - Get a beginner friendly Linux distro ( I suggest LinuxMint) - You guys can either install Linux on their laptop or burn Live iso to their USB stick/DVD - You could also try to give free distro update to the existing users who don't have good broad band connection at home Once you've got a handful of linux powered machines, you guys will get more active participation for you planned event. I tired this one at my college and it was a big success. Good luck!
