Unfortunately, there's no way to turn off the email confirmations. I
suggest setting up a filter in your mail client to handle all incoming
mail from the MLM. We have a script here that we often use to help out
large list owners -- send your subscriber list to staff@xxxxxxxxxxxxx (one
address per line) and we can add them manually (and you won't receive the
confirmation emails).

Entering the users' names is completely optional -- I suggest you have
them login and do it for themselves if they want their name on the list...
:)

Send an email to YOURLIST-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the following in the
body:

admin2
subscribe user@xxxxxxxx
subscribe user2@xxxxxxxxx
... etc...
//admin2

That message will be sent back to you with the appropriate "command
wrappers" and a cookie, which you then forward back to
listar@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Note though that you'll still receive the emails
letting you know that someone was subscribed. I'm not sure of the syntax
for setting someone's name through email admin -- I'll look it up and mail
you off-list with it.

Good idea.
