I found the answers to my questions with a combination of the sparse
documentation at the listar web site and sending mail to
listar@xxxxxxxxxxxxx first with the subject 'help' then 'commands' and
figuring out from there how to use the admin2 and setname command.
This really needs to be in the introductory information sent to new
list owners.
