First of all, thank you very much to everyone who responded. The common theme
from everyone was that there is an FTP problem and sure enough, that was the
issue.
It turns out that the hosts file on our lab AW was replaced with an older
version. The older version was created to work with our previous installation
of foxray. In that version the host name of the foxray server was not the same
as the current SA server. Once the correct hosts file was swapped back in, the
commit_collect.sh script would run on the AW and it transferred data the SA
server. As far as I can see almost everything came over. Oddly, there is one
screen file that appears to be missing. I will allow the system to run on its
own overnight and check to see if the missing fdf file has been collected
tomorrow.
It was a simple fix and I should have known to look there initially. Every
day, I learn new stuff. Problem is I tend to forget it a few days later...

check the Foxray Server to make sure i= s reachable from the AW (maybe a cable
disconnect, host file change or a fo= xray.ftp file corruption

Dcs_transferdata uses ftp. Have you tried to connect from collecting pc t= o
foxray via ftp to test that it is still working? Also check to see if any= are
running in task manager. There can be multiple and if one is stuck, ot= hers

isthat if the Foxray = server was updated lately, you might not be able to ftp

It appears that our lab data is no longer being collected by foxray (aka=
System Advisor).=C2=A0 When I look in the subdirectories, it appears that = we
have loads of files from about three weeks ago (11/11).=C2=A0 But none o= f it

task for the lab, it has no effect.

In addition to the I tried running the commi= t_collect task on our AW in
thelab (Solaris 8, I/A release 7.1.5, FoxView = 9.0.4) it returned an
error.=C2=A0 The script file runs both the DCSFoxrayI= mport and the
DCSTransferData programs.=C2=A0 The Import program runs fine.= =C2=A0 I can see
that the all kinds of files (ranging from 11/11 to today) = that need to be
transferred.
When the Transfer program runs it returns the error.=C2= =A0 The error message
returned is "Can't call method "login"= on an undefined value at
DCSTransferData.pl line 320, <INFOXIA_DEF> = chunk 9."=C2=A0 There is enough
unique in that message that I was able= to search the archives quite
readily.=C2=A0 I found 22 instances where thi= s message occurred.=C2=A0
Unfortunately, there was no resolution indicated.= =C2=A0 I have quite a bit of
old back and forth with Ricardo and I searched= through that and also did not
find an answer.
So, it looks like I have perhaps two = possible issues.=C2=A0 One is that data
from our lab is not being updated i= n foxray (SA).=C2=A0 The other is that the
lab AW is no longer pushing data= over to the foxray server.
Because I know the question will be asked, I did verify = that the lab I/A
server can still ping the foxray server, so that avenue is= intact.
= I appreciate any recommendations you can make.
