Check your /etc/wpcplns file....it is the source of FoxSelect list...if it is
corrupted or someone try to edit...to reduce the list ...you may find that to
be the culprit

Thanks for the information. I have checked the archives and did not
find where this specific issue has been addressed in the past. (Of
course, when I search for FoxSelect, there are 250 hits - I must confess
that I did not try to read through all of them.)
Yes, I did find and delete the .ini file, but to no avail. I have since
discovered that, even though the WP is receiving and transmitting data
from the field, it is not accessible by rlogin from other machines.
I will attempt a reformat and reload this afternoon.
