Dear Kashif what kevin meant that you rlogin from diffrent box and on the shell you kill the Alarm manger command it was pref -LBUG "quitam on; exit" something like that I don't exactly remember. Also most likely problem in this box if there is no signal can be in the RAMif you have an empty slot try to change the DIMMS to it or try to change the DIMM.
