Foxboro was very responsive in getting us a new number but because of time zone
differences it still took 12 hours. We needed authorization for 8000 pts so
I'm not sure if the temp code would have worked or not. All I am saying is
that this authorization scheme seems to cause a lot of non value added work and
confusion. Compared to this I would rather use the old floppy disk site
specific licenses of Foxboro yesteryear. This has to create another level of
overhead to support it at FoMass, and for what gain? Stepping down from the
stump I will now quit beating this dead horse.
And to all a good night.

For those of you who don't read base64, Pat raises an interesting question.
He says, "One potential concern, there is a point limit to the temp
license. I believe it is 5000 points. Need confirmation though.

Any confirmation from the Foxboro folks on the list?

Regards,

Kevin
