"Contacts"? Those in the user's "Contacts" folder? No.

OWA gives you a choice to select the Contacts folder or the GAL. This
affects the GAL search.

You set the Member Of on the file to the DN (distinguishedName) of
Leathal Users. NOT the CN (common name).

For each user, you set msExchQueryBaseDN to the DN of the leathal-users
OU, not the DN of the security group.

If you set the values properly, then yes, it works.

Why can't you just answer this without twisting it up? :-)

So I set the Member Of to "Leathal Users" ??

In the ADSI edit for each users under OU leatha-users do I add
CN=Leathal Users,OU=leathal-users,DC=smoothrunnings,DC=ca to it?

After I am done, will each user see one another, and will they see their
own contacts under OWA?

Andrew

Filter --> User --> Member Of --> CN=Leathal
Users,OU=leathal-users,DC=smoothrunnings,DC=ca

on the address list

So what do I do then? Set the value on the Filter --> User --> Member Of
--> leathal-users and whatever for the other ones?

COMPLAINT: I wish this message server would stop appending the end
content onto every single reply so that I don't have to keep going back
and retyping my messages because the message it TOO BIG!!

http://www.MSExchange.org/

so if you created the security group "Leathal Users" in the OU named
leathal-users, and the OU is under the root, then the DN is

CN=Leathal Users,OU=leathal-users,DC=smoothrunnings,DC=ca

You can get the DN from ADSIedit as the KB articles suggest, if you
don't know how to build it yourself.

I setup Security Groups; Leathal Users, Smooth Users, and Pixy Users and
assigned them to the appropriate the user as Member Of.
