Distribution Lists

Morning all,
IS there a limitation in how many contacts you can add to a distribution
list? I have to create several distribution lists for a user that
contains about contacts in each. When I try to add over 500 contacts to
a new distribution list I get the following error message "This
distribution list has reached the maximum size for your network e-mail
server. No new members could be added.". Is there a setting on the
exchanger server where I can increase the limit? I need to have these
distribution lists setup asap, do you know of a know way of doing this?
I know that I probably could break that large list in to smaller lists,
but I would rather not do that. Is it easy to setup a Listserver on the
exchange? If so, how easy is it to set that up??
