More from our little storm.  The good news is that the wind has stopped.  The bad news is that the snow has started:

The temperature hasn't hit freezing.  The Great Salt Lake is relatively warm.  The forecast is for 100 percent chance of precipitation for the next 2 days, then hit and miss for the following 3.  That's not the bad part.  The forecast lows are predicted to be in the teens or single digits by mid-week.  This is just the edge of the storm and the winds are swirling now.  When they change and come from the north, we're gonna get dumped on.  Good thing I stocked up on cream soda, huh?  :)

It needs a lotta setup work, although I've done a bunch already...like getting rid of a buncha the pre-installed bs.  Since the wind has stopped, I'm not as worried about power failures, although there are still enough leaves in the trees that there could be some that topple from the weight of the snow and take out power lines.  I guess it's a good thing it has a battery, huh?  I don't spose it'd last a coupla days and heat the house, tho.  Good thing I have gas heat and stove that I can light with a match if I have to.

Stay tuned.  I've cleared away most of the stuff I needed to do, so this may keep me amused for a while.
