Sandra,

thanks for that. I am not proposing buying too many books. One a month
will do me for now. I am quite impressed as to how well the system works.

Could you give us some idea of some of the titles you have purchased
recently?

David

I'm here, David. Only just seen the messages. I always download my Audible
books at format four because the others are, not to put too fine a point on
it, utter crap. I think they also have what they call an enhanced format as
well now although that's not supported by the stream yet or anything else as
far as I know. Once you've bought a book, whether that's paying for it
outright or using your monthly subscription, it's yours and is stored in
your library which you get to through audible manager or from the website.
You can download it as many times as you like and in whatever quality you
want. There wasn't an audible.co.uk when I joined and I used to come up
against the American copywright laws and couldn't get half the books I
wanted but, of course, that doesn't happen now.
Don't know if this has answered all the questions but if not, let me know
and I'll try to answer any queries. If you're going to be getting a few
books, David, I think you'd be better joining audible listener to make it
cheaper.

Cheers,
Sandra.
