[edi581] Intern Vs. Tenured

Tenured, what does this mean? As an intern, am I better or least qualified? As 
a tenured teacher does this automatically mean that I am a "professional" 
teacher who can do whatever they want and not get fired,? or is all of this 
political. I wold like to hear from both tenured and non-tenured teacher.

P.S. Is this automatic if you "survive" for three years.
