for me it's a reading experience similar to Trollope and Austin, I can see
that it's very well observed and full of social satire, but not much happens
and when it does it's a long time about it.  I'm afraid I'm heading back now
to a cheap thriller bought from the Kindle store this afternoon for £1.49.
