Hi

Is there a rule in american braille which says when things should be
put in to computer braille or not?

I'm brailling something which has filenames, file extentions,
pathnames etc and can't quite decide what to do. I'm inclined to use
the compinline style for them. They are scattered throughout ordinary
text. Also, should I put a transcribers note on the tn page to say
that computer code has been used for filenames, file name extentions,
pathnames and whatever else I use it for?

I already have the computer code symbols on a special symbols page
because they're used in e-mail and web addresses, so it's no trouble
to add a tn page for the volumes this applies to.

Thoughts please.

Teri
