Yes, this is a compatability bug which we experienced when we installed 10.4
on the PCs being used for braille production but left 10.3 on the PC used
for embossing. We got exactly the same problem with the hyphens on the
screen when we opened in 10.3 a file produced using 10.4.

Hi George and Listers:

I am the one Fina sent a DXB file to be translated into braille. It
seems
when she braills it, it brailles just fine with the hyphens where they
should be but when I got a copy of the file, which was already prepared for
brailling where hyphens were supposed to be duxbury put in the number one:
e.g. 1-1/2 became 111/2.
I had another friend send me a test message with a couple of recipes
and
her document preparation worked out just fine. Fina is using DBT 10.04
whereas I am using DBT 10.03. We thought this might be the reason, but when
the other file came through and it worked, guess need to get Miss Marpole
to check out the mystery. Any help would be appreciated as this is a long
book, almost 250 pages.

These are the kinds of questions which all Duxbury users ask from time to
time, and in the longer term, may help us to improve the quality of DBT.
