I have been on this list for a while but never posted, only a couple of questions. Considerring what I do at work as a jfw teacher, transcribing is what I do also but very little of. Here is my question. I use open book 7.0 to scan materials, into word, save the file, bring it up in db 10.7 and I proceed to emboss using the beloved enabling Juliet pro. So, how do some of the pros here transcribe? I get flack from my coworker that the reason why my documents are not formatted correctly is due to me scanning into word and I should scan straight into duxbury. Scanning straight into Duxbury is this possible? Going with the scanning into word avenue as it relates to formatting and fixing your document before embossing is this done in db or word? I have been fixing the formatting as it relates to centering text, indenting paragraphs all in word then I bring it up in db. Should I be doing this in word or db? Sorry for the rooky questions but I suppose this is a good place to post questions as such and learn. Take care.
