Hi Ann,
Did you have Codes viewed when you did this? You do need to have these showing
when you search and replace looking for Codes.

Yes, that's how I put the codes into the search field. I wonder if it is
because it was a long document.

Hi Ann,
I've just had a mistake of mine pointed out - so a thousand apologies.
It's Ctrl and left square bracket, NOT the Alt key. And either left or right
Ctrl is OK to use.
