Hi John, I have looked at the document you sent me privately, and I can indeed confirm that what you are looking at is an already translated braille file. If you had a braille display, you would be able to read it O.K., however JAWS will make no sense of it at all, because it is not able to back-translate braille files into speech. I have quoted the beginning 3 lines of the file here. ,,PC ,,_W ,MAY #BJJC ,VOLUME #BA1 ,NO4 #E That didn't make sense, did it? However it is ascii grade 2 braille saying:- PC World May 2003 Volume 21. No. 5 In actual fact, you may be able to simply "print" the file direct to your braille embosser, where it will perhaps make more sense.
