Hi my name is John Sanders. This file I got off of the nls web site.
http://www.loc.gov
Search for Braille magazines.
Once there, go to the link that says PC world and click on that link and then
find the issues and them as a html document. The format they originally wrote
it in was .brf
Sincerely
John Sanders

  Hi John,

No, I mean what program created it? NotePad, Dreamweaver, FrontPage, Word or
what? Some HTML is manually written (in things like NotePad) and does not
therefore always contain proper HTML, even though it may display OK in I.E. and
such like.

  George.

Hi, what do you mean what's the source of the html document? Do you mean
where is it located? If you are wondering there the file is located, it is
located in c;\dbtdocs.
I'll try that suggestion and see if it works. In the past, when I've
imported html documents in to Dux bury, it worked fine. But, now it doesn't.
    Sincerely
    John Sanders

      Hi John,

What is the source of the HTML? When you try to open it in DBT, does the
importer recognise it as an HTML file, and then not display it properly?

As Ann Foxworth has suggested, it may be worth opening first in Internet
Explorer, and doing a Save there under another name. All being well, this may
well put back any missing header information which DBT needs to see in order to
identify the file type correctly.

      George Bell.

Hi, can some one please tell me how I would go about importing html
documents in to DBT?
Every time I try to import a html document, dux bury doesn't like the
format. How should I go about fixing this?
        Sincerely,
        John Sanders
