Hello Ann. I think that the JAWS issue you described, hearing the previous
line when you press DownArrow in DBT, occurs when scrolling is required
because the cursor is already on the bottom screen line. Anyway, in
browsing through the list of new features and fixes in the beta version of
JAWS 5.0 on the Freedom Scientific web site, I noticed the item below, which
I think may be at the heart of this issue in DBT:

. We have solved issues related to documents scrolling when pressing the UP
or DOWN ARROW and JAWS often reading the wrong line. In the event this would
happen, the user could do a Say Line and this would read the proper line at
that time. The issue was related to timing and scrolling and we believe this
should be resolved in most cases now. This fix will also be made available
for 4.51 customers in the soon to be released patch for that version.

Sincerely,
Caryn

I'd like to hear from those of you who are currently accessing Duxbury
with jaws 4.51.119. I notice that when I arrow down through a document,
especially but not exclusively a braille document in Duxbury, JAWS sticks
and will repeat the same text more than once.
Does anyone else have this experience and if so, have you figured out a
way to stop it?
