Greetings, Ann!

JAWS can be quirky at times. The things I often try are to make sure that
the application I am using is maximized. More likely to help with the
problem is to refresh your screen by using insert escape--you may need to
refresh your screen a couple of times to clear the "gremlins" as I call
them.

Good luck!

Take care,

with jaws 4.51.119. I notice that when I arrow down through a document,
especially but not exclusively a braille document in Duxbury, JAWS sticks
and will repeat the same text more than once.
