EXCELLENT! I'd say this rule was making me tear my hair out, but I haven't

There is a rule in DBT 10.4 to cancel indentation when encountering the beginning or ending of a style. I am not sure why this rule was put in place (it is possible that it was accidentally pasted in from a rule for another code), but you are not the first person to notice oddities resulting from it, and it will be removed in 10.5.
