We have indeed settled on the same approach.  All of this is now part of the
detail for the improvement requested with reference # 1638.

Sounds to me like we are arguing for the same thing with a different choice
of words. I would not determine which template to install with "msiexec /a",
only "msiexec /i". Anything that is automatically chosen during this
install, I would have an override in the custom install method.

In the end, I can only state my preference. I hope that my arguments are
clear about my preferences, but they are always subject to change with new
information *smile*.
