Regarding to-do, "maybe wiki support in image captions?":
I'd gladly just invoke the parser from within my detail.php file, if only
DokuWiki supported page-level caching. hint hint hint. ;^)

Actually, all I need are links, italics and bolds. If I become desperate, I
