This evening I set down and reconfigured all vhosts to make
use of php-fpm.
Let's hope this solved our problems,
Unfortunately it didn't. This morning the forum wasn't reachable:
FastCGI: comm with server "/var/www/forum/php5-fcgi" aborted: idle
timeout (30 sec)
I restarted FPM and everything went back to normal. I set up a few
thresholds in fpm config to that should help to get rid of hanging
processes, but I'm not sure if that will work. I'm starting to think
the current PHP package might be buggy.
