Sweetwater also says that the company is not selling through them either.
They are giving me six months to pay this off, or if I pass the six months 
the interest rate will go up to 29 percent, and this would have to be a 
special order. If it was sold on a brand name that Sweetwater normally sells, 
I wouldn't have this problem. I'm biting the bullet on this one.

Jim, the x-touch would control sonar or samplitude and its parameters. Your 
audio would be traveling through the saffire (as it would still be your audio 
interface), and your midi would go through the MOTU MIDI hub you have, unless 
you wanted to use the pro40 or x-touch for midi as well, but your setup as is 
probably works fine.

Hey Phil, do you plug anything in to the X touch other than a USB cable or 
power cable for Keyboard output? Or, is this all done through the Saffire?
I'm guessing that it's all done through the Saffire, but I want to be sure.

Yes the X-touch works with Logic.  Not sure about Pro Tools.  I know some are 
using the Faderport as that has true fader flip an works well in PT.

Aah but you are talking about the BCF2000 which for the money isn't 
bad although the motorised faders on it are a wee bit noisy where as 
the
X-touch
has very quiet motorised faders and tons of buttons so you don't have 
to
use
multiple keystrokes to achieve the same thing on the X-touch as it has 
dedicated buttons for EQ etc.

UK companies such as Midas who know how to build great concels and 
KLARK TEKNIK who build excellent affects and the people who worked for 
those companies are now working for Behrenger which means we now have 
some great audio pree-amps, and mixing concels such as the X32 which 
you can get with Midas pre-amps in.  Further more the X32 and X-touch 
are Open Sound
Control
compatible so when used in conjunction with Can's non screen redder 
dependent application you will end up with a talking Behrenger X32 and 
you can access all features such as solo, mute affects etc.
