Hi Jean-Paul Thanks for this reply, and I'm sorry you can't use this expensive non-runner. I'm sure you'll agree with me that on listening to the samples, for this and also for the Philharmonik orchestra, that the sounds are excellent for their price range. I've been trying to listen to anything I can find, and so far they beat most. It looks like we've hit a dead end if the company cannot make it more accessible. I don't know how easy it would be for scripters on the list to devise workarounds - I'm fairly convinced if more people heard the quality of this extensive sample range, for both products, thenthey might feel a desire to try to make them accessible for the blind community. Perhaps HOT spot clicker could help here. Comparing the Garriton Personal Orchestra, Synful Orchestra and thisIK Multimedia's Philharmonik orchestra, for me the most lively and authentic was the Philharmonik. At present it looks like we'll have to make do with something less. Here's a suggestion: perhaps on the list people could post and someone gather, a list of accessible sound synths, rating them for quality and realism. Some who are more daring and who try ones they like the look of, might just happen to stumble on some new accessible ones. Regards. It was impossible to use it. The help of friends didn't give any resultat. I sent a message on this list but I got no answer. At last I wrote to the team of multi media. The answer was that there are no short cuts. I must say that the synth sleeps in my computer. I would be happy if somebody had something new about this sample tank. Both of these are the best I've heard. They are VST plugins. The site is www.ikmultimedia.com Has anyone used these - if they are VST should Sonar and Band In A Box have any difficulty in accessing them? Do they relate to GM - do VST plugins need to be remapped? If so, how? Sorry for all the questions, but I must say I'm impressed with what I've heard and would like to purchase these if usable.
