Hi Gordon,
last year I bought sample tank (300 euro in France). It was impossible to use
it. The help of friends didn't give any resultat. I sent a message on this list
but I got no answer. At last I wrote to the team of multi media. The answer was
that there are no short cuts. I must say that the synth sleeps in my computer.
I would be happy if somebody had something new about this sample tank.

Further to my last email I've just come across the IK Multimedia site with a
variety of what seem to me excellent sound synths, the two most interesting
being Sample Tank XL and Full Philharmonik Orchestra. Both of these are the
best I've heard. They are VST plugins. The site is

Has anyone used these - if they are VST should Sonar and Band In A Box have
any difficulty in accessing them?
Do they relate to GM - do VST plugins need to be remapped? If so, how?
Sorry for all the questions, but I must say I'm impressed with what I've
heard and would like to purchase these if usable.
