Hello:
It has worked fine for me. Of course, using an external firewire drive is highly recommended, but the internal drive is a 7200rpm drive and does very well.

I would never advise using virtual mixers.  I always encourage folks to
get
a real hardware mixer.  The behernger mixers are so cheap that itg  makes
no
sense not to have one.
