Mainly security alerts, but also some pages simply crash around me, so I keep
most of the active stuff turned off. I use Opera and it's quite easy to quickly
switch this on and off, but most of the time I'll keep everything off, including
pop-ups.
I also scan with Adaware on a regular basis and keep a firewall up.
I'd keep persite prefs, but this simply takes too much time and fuss.
