I just realized the same idea behind garbage collection also applies to the
cows. The only difference is that time scales are vastly different for
computer processes and "real world" things.
For example:
There are 2 cows on a field, 1 has been laying down for 3 minutes, 1 for an
entire week. Which one is likely to stand up first? Cow number 1 is
almost certainly the correct answer.
