From Blizzards side, they've decided that they want to create a single set for each class that is high-level rift worthy. So, DH gets Marauder, Barb gets Raekor, Crus gets Akkhan etc. They said that it's easier to deal with balancing issues. Once they're happy with these, they might consider other ones, but it is unlikely that any character class will have completely different viable high level builds. I'm not sure why that is since Blizzards has also specifically stated that they don't care about serious players and are only catering to the noobs.
